III Hispanic Moroccan Forum of Businesswomen

On October 28th and 29th the Association of Businesswomen and Women Professionals of Cadiz (AMEP) hosted the III Hispanic Moroccan Forum of Businesswomen in Cadiz, Spain. The event counted with presence of more than one hundred businesswomen from both sides of the Mediterranean and of several distinguished speakers who contributed with their knowledge and experience in the attainment of the event's main objective, the reinforcement of the cooperation between Spain and Morocco.

The opening Conference was given by Mr. José Miguel Zaldo, President of the Hispanic-Moroccan Business Committee of the CEOE, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations. On the following day representatives of the Chambers of Commerce of Cadiz, Tetuan, Tanger, as well as several business investors shared their experiences on investing in Morocco.

The Forum had a special significance to AFAEMME as it presented a chance to strengthen the bonds between its Spanish and Moroccan members through a collaboration agreement signed by Mrs. Ana Alonso, President of AMEP and of the Andalucian Federation of Businesswomen – FAME, organisation member of AFAEMME; and Mrs. Fouzia Tarik, Regional President of the Association of Businesswomen of Morocco - AFEM, also member of AFAEMME.
