Female Balkan entrepreneurs share experiences in Istanbul

Last end of September, Istanbul hosted the First Forum for South East European Women Entrepreneurs. The two-day-forum was designed to provide a chance for Balkan entrepreneurial women to share experiences and best practices, as well as promote their further integration in their networks.

Mrs. Flutura Xhabija, President of the Professional & Business Women Association of Albania (PBWA), which is member of AFAEMME, participated in the Forum where she shared her story and experience as a businesswomen beginning in the 90s, when the communist regime felt in Albania. Mrs. Xhabija pointed out that women entrepreneurs or businesswomen’s associations in the area still face many problems and that there is an important lack of education, knowledge of foreign languages and the necessary qualifications.
