Imagining Growth 2 - Partner Meeting in Warsaw (Poland)

After the implementation of a start-up programme for disadvantaged women and an investment readiness programme for women owning high-growth potential businesses, the implementing organisations met in Warsaw in order to present the outcomes of the programmes in each beneficiary country.

The partners of the “Imagining Growth 2” project - a Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme led by the Women Business Development Agency (UK) - gathered together in Warwaw on the 12th and 13th of June.

After the implementation of a start-up programme for disadvantaged women and an investment readiness programme for women owning high-growth potential businesses, the implementing organisations (Women Business Development Agency for the UK, Catalan Association of Business and Executive Women for Spain, Associazione Imprenditorialità Donna for Italy and the Polish Chamber of Commerce for the case of Poland) met in Warsaw in order to present the outcomes and results of the programmes in each beneficiary country.

In the case of Spain, at this time, seven young unemployed women are starting-up their businesses and ten Spanish businesswomen have prepared their companies to receive external investments and grow their business, with six businesswomen having already obtained funding.

The definitive outcomes of the project implementation will be presented during a Final Conference which will take place on the 30th of September 2014 at the Greater Birmingham and West Midlands Brussels Office, in Belgium.
