EU project "She decides, you succeed"

In the framework of AFAEMME's project "She decides, you succeed", co-funded by the PROGRESS Programme of the European Union, last September 18th and 19th AFAEMME invited the project's Quality Control Director to Barcelona, in order to plan her work within the project.

The project aims at promoting gender balance in the private sector by developing a toolkit to disseminate the benefits for companies of having more women in their economic decision-making positions. Project partners will conduct research and elaborate a guide about the specific benefits for private companies of facilitating women's access to economic decision-making positions and AFAEMME will develop a Toolkit on the basis of the guide, containing clear reasons why private companies should be interested in increasing the number of women in its decision-making positions.Fifteen Women Leaders will then be selected and trained and will visit over 150 companies to encourage them to facilitate women's access to decision-making.

Ms. Mirella Visser, Managing Director of the Center for Inclusive Leadership (Netherlands), will be in charge of supervising the quality of the project's products, i.e. the research activities and resulting guides, the toolkit which will contain the information of the guides and a communication strategy, the questionnaires used to gather the feedback of the beneficiary companies and the project's final report.
