Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation meets AFAEMME

Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr has met, in Cambra of Barcelona, the organisation of Mediterranean, Ascame and Afaemme. Dr. Sahar Nasr headed last 5 July 2017, in Barcelona, the Crans Montana Forum, in presence of approximately 600 figures featuring current and former heads of states and governments and a number of major global companies. The Minister is expected to deliver a speech at a session on the role of African women in development and is also expected to meet with Jean Paul Carteron, President Founder of the Forum, and to hold meetings with major Spanish companies, some of which have investments in Egypt. During a meeting helded in Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Minister has giving an overview of the steps taken by Egypt to improve the investment and business environment as well as the major investment opportunities in a number of development and national projects such as the Suez Canal Development Axis and the New Administrative Capital. The Minister emphasized that her visit to Spain aimed to attract further Spanish investment, in light of distinguished relations between both sides, noting that the government attached great importance to contribution of the private sectors and foreign investors to the development process through participation in the implementation of mega national projects. The Minister also indicated that her participation in the Forum aimed to encourage cooperation between Egypt and participating countries in all economic fields.
