AFAEMME has been invited by the President of the European Commission to participate in the Citizen's Agora on Climate change which will be held on June 12th and 13th, 2008 in Brussels, Belgium.

Tackling climate change is one of the major challenges facing our societies. In the light of countless international studies, the European institutions, together with all leading international players, now agree that the predicted environmental, social, economic and cultural effects predicted could be immense. For these reasons the European Parliament is inviting European civil society to express its views freely and frankly on this crucial matter.
