Yesterday, 9th September, our President Maria Helena de Felipe, was in the audience of the S.M.King Felipe VI with the Vice-Presidents of Cepyme leaded by Gerardo Cuerva, President of Cepyme, analyzing the current economic and business situation from different territories and sectors and always working for the spanish pymes. On the 3rd of February, AFAEMME organized a visit study in Europe’s oldest employer confederation, Foment de Treball to welcome our Turkish visitors in the frame “Increasing the Women’s Status in Business Life”. In this meeting, various topics were discussed. We examined the current progress of the project as well as future propositions between AFAEMME and IZIKAD. It was a pleasure to carry out this visit.

On November 22nd, 2019 we held the sixth annual Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum in Casa Llotja de Mar. Organized by the hand of ASCAME and AFAEMME, this event was designed to accelerate the growth of women-owned businesses through access to information, contacts and capital. To address this reality, the sessions aimed to discuss the new generation of young women entrepreneurs.

Afaemme members, Presidents or Board Members, from countries around the Mediterranean Region, participate in the second session of MedaWomen in the panel "Empowering a New Generation of Young Entrepreneurs". They explained their "Best Practices" in supporting and nurturing young women entrepreneurs and community leaders on challenges and opportunities.

Several members from our 24 countries participated to share ideas, projects, proposals or coming events in their countries and organized by their associations. Next Medawomen the 17th Edition, will be held in Barcelona, So excited to meet you in Barcelona next november 2025!!
