2nd International Forum on Women Entrepreneurship

2nd – 3rd December 2011, Sofia (Bulgaria)

The Second International Forum on Women Entrepreneurship is jointly organised by the Bulgarian Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE) and Business & Professional Women Sofia (BPW Sofia). Co-organizers of the event are: the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Sofia Municipality.

The International Forum on Women Entrepreneurship aims at encouraging ladies’ business leadership and at popularising their active presence at managerial positions among the business circles as well as among the general public, by means of presenting, from one part, the activity of the companies they are in charge of, and from the other - by subjecting to discussion women entrepreneurship’s topics of present interest. To this end, the event will run in two different aspects – the one, being a discussion forum and the other – b2b meeting.

Among the Forum invitees are foreign organisations of women entrepreneurs, most of which coming from Europe, as well from Balkan region. Leading Bulgarian and international companies managed by ladies will be presented as well.

5th Annual Diversity and Inclusion Forum

23rd and 24th of February 2012, Barcelona (Spain)

AFAEMME is going to participate at the 5th Annual International Diversity and Inclusion Forum, which will take place in Barcelona (Spain) on the 23rd and the 24th of February 2012.

The Forum will consist in 2 days of expert presentations and interactive discussion groups exploring the main themes of Women in Leadership, Diversity and Talent Management & Successful Global Strategies, with a full table of extra topics.

AFAEMME’s President, Mrs. De Felipe, will be chairing the session on Women in Leadership, on Thursday 23rd at 17:10.
