SUCCESSFUL X MEDAWOMEN ENTREPRENEUR FORUM 2018 in AMMAN (2nd & 3rd October, 2018)

The X Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum edition helded in Amman, gaves the center stage to the role of women in technology, transforming the world on the STEM sector. The Consortium of AFAEMME, the Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen; the JFBPW, the Jordan Forum Business and Professional Women, ASCAME, the Chamber of Commerce of the Mediterranean, the Chamber of Commerce of Amman and the Chamber of Commerce from Barcelona, organized the successful the X Edition of MedaWomen Entrepreneurs Forum, geared towards addressing key opportunities and pressing issues for women in technology in the Mediterranean region.
Her Royal Princess Sumaya from Amman opened the meetings of the 10th Mediterranean Women Entrepreneur Forum, in her opening speech, Princess Sumaya underlined the importance of gathering, stressing that women have proven themselves to be innovative, creative, resourceful and driven individuals when given the opportunity. More than 200 businesswomen and representatives from 23 Mediterranean countries took part in this Women Entrepreneurs Forum of the Mediterranean in Chamber of Commerce in Amman.

AFAEMME ATTENDS MEDA4MEDITERRANEAN IN LISBON

Afaemme's President attend the fourth high-level conference on women’s empowerment entitled, ‘Women build inclusive societies in the Mediterranean’ on 10-11 October in Lisbon. This edition brought together some of the most active voices on gender equality in the region, involving 300 participants from over 30 countries.

AFAEMME PREPARING PHASE III OF YOUNG WOMEN AS JOB CREATORS PROJECT

AFAEMME is preparing the third phase of the successful project Young Women as Job Creators, under the umbrella of The Union of Mediterranean. AFAEMME continues giving opportunities to young women of the Mediterranean area, supporting them in the transition from education to work.
