Imagining Growth

AFAEMME partners with the Women Business Development Agency (UK) in a Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme.

AFAEMME is participating, together with the University of Birmingham Business School, the Italian Businesswomen Association APID and the Association of Polish Chambers of Commerce, in a Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme which is lead by the UK Women Business Development Agency (WBDA).

The project’s aim is to contribute to EU economic recovery and growth by creating a comprehensive, sustainable, specialist women’s enterprise support service from pre-start-up through to business growth. Partners are going to deliver in their corresponding countries one investment readiness programme for women-owned businesses and one business start up programme for disadvantaged women facing socio-economic barriers to start a business.

Last 15th and 16th of January 2013, the WBDA hosted in Birmingham (UK) the project’s FIRST PARTNER MEETING. The second Partner Meeting is going to take place in Turin (Italia) in June 2013.

If you are businesswomen and you are interested in participating in the programme about investment readiness which will take place at the begining of 2014 in Spain, please contact us by sending an e-mail to afaemme@afaemme.org.

If you are facing socio-economic barriers to start a business and you would like to participate in the programme for disadvantaged women facing socio-economic barriers to start a business which will take place at the begining of 2014, please contact us by sending an e-mail to afaemme@afaemme.org.
