Global Summit of Women 2014

The Global Summit of Women is pleased to bring together women business, professional, and governmental leaders in Paris, France, for three days of stimulating sessions designed to explore practical strategies and best practices in accelerating women’s economic progress worldwide. The world’s leading global economic forum for women, now in its 24th year, the Global Summit of Women convenes delegates representing the three critical ‘legs’ of change – government, business and civil society – to assist in promoting greater economic opportunities for women. International Members and Partner
organizations representing women on five continents are planning to participate in the 2014 Summit in France.

The theme of the 2014 Summit — “Women: Redesigning Economies, Societies” — reflects our belief that women hold the key to bringing about the necessary changes in the economy and in politics, as well as in workplaces and communities, in order for the global economy to grow and for societies to flourish. The Summit will explore the ways women as entrepreneurs and corporate executives are re-shaping the business world and redefining leadership globally, while working to create sustainable futures and restoring peace worldwide.

The 2014 Summit will inform delegates on how to access the French and larger EU market, showcase women business and government leaders from the region, provide skills-building sessions, as well as establish networks among such leaders.
