AFAEMME's Italian member, Women at Work Italia (W@WI), organizes a conference on women's entrepreneurship in the food industry. W@WI supports local enterprise by focusing on strengthening women's networks.  An activity carried out by organizing meetings on various issues of interest that create affiliation and spirit of cooperation among the members. W@WI brings to EXPO a concrete example of how to create this network and support women entrepreneurs. The conference will be divided into two parts. In the first section it will be given space to the narrative of the history of W@WI, giving the floor to some protagonists of the association with the intention of creating the atmosphere of familiarity that characterizes the usual activities. In this climate of sharing three groups of entrepreneurs will be introduced, divided by areas agribusiness. The topics presented: food as a cure for the body, the organic as a lifestyle choice and the cultivation. On the stage of the Women for Expo these groups take turns, each composed of three entrepreneurs in order to make possible a lively confrontation with the help of three moderators.

To talk about food as a cure for the body there will be a chef, a nutritionist and herbalist. They will discuss different points of view to make clear how food can be a pleasure for the palate and as well as a source of well-being for the body. The second group will address the issue of organic food through some stories of entrepreneurs who have made it into a lifestyle choice. It will be interesting to see how they have managed to combine the objectives of a business with a personal quest for growth and change. The last group will address the issue of cultivation, seen from different perspectives, but with a common key: the relationship with the land.is organizing an event on women entrepreneurs and agrobusiness.
