Programmes for Business Start-Up and Business Growth

In the framework of the “Imagining Growth 2", a Leonardo Lifelong Learning project which is led by the Women Business Development Agency (WBDA) of the UK, at the end of this year AFAEMME will do a selection of:

• 10 women with entrepreneurial spirit who want to start a business
• 10 women with an already established company which is functioning for at least 1 year

in order to participate in a Business Start-Up Programme (first group of participants) and a Business Growth Programme (second group of participants) which will both start in February 2014.

With the aim of informing potential participants about these Programmes, so that they can register and participate in the selection, AFAEMME organized an informative event in the headquarters of the Catalan Employers Organisation FOMENTO (Barcelona), last 31st of October.

Representatives of AFAEMME have been in charge of presenting the programmes and two young successful businesswomen explained their own experience and encouraged women to register for the upcoming programmes.

After the presentations, there was a networking-coffee.
