Imagining Growth 2 - Train the trainer event

Becoming a woman mentor trainer

In the framework of the "Imagining Growth 2" project in which AFAEMME is collaborating, AFAEMME's President and the Association's Project Coordinator have been in Birmingham during October 14th-16th in order to attend a two days intensive course to become woman mentors trainers. They will now transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to mentors of the Catalan Association of Business and Executive Women (ACEE) who will be the final suppliers of a training and mentoring program for women entrepreneurs and businesswomen which is going to be delivered in early 2014.

The "Imagining Growth 2" project is a Leonardo Lifelong Learning project which is financed by the European Commission and led by the Women Business Development Agency (WBDA) from the UK. The project partners, a part from AFAEMME, are APID (an association of Italian businesswomen based in Turin), the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business School of the University of Birmingham.

The course -which has been given among others by Mr. Steve Walker, Chief Executive at ASTON REINVESTMENT TRUST, and Ms. Sally Arkley, Director of the Women Business Development Agency- has been attended by representatives of the project's partner organisations.
