Imagining Growth 2

Last 12th of June AFAEMME's President, Ms. Lehtonen, and AFAEMME's International Project Coordinator, Ms. Mally, traveled to Turin (Italy) to participate in the second partner meeting of the project "Imagining Growth 2" of which AFAEMME is a partner organisation.

This Leonardo Lifelong Learning project is led by the Women Business Development Agency (WBDA) from the UK and the project partners, a part from AFAEMME, are APID (an association of Italian Businesswomen based in Turin), the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the University of Birmingham Business School.

The project intends to train and mentor women in order to contribute to the economic recovery and growth of the EU by creating a comprehensive, sustainable and specialist women’s enterprise support service from pre-start-up through to business growth. The training and mentoring programs are going to be delivered by AFAEMME in 2014, through its member the Catalan Association of Business and Executive Women (ACEE).

In the framework of the project AFAEMME has translated into Spanish a Guide for Businessmentoring. The Guide trains women mentors to support women entrepreneurs and business growth.
