First Women Entrepreneurship Day in Morocco

Motivating young women in Morocco for entrepreneurship through the Young Women as Job Creators project

On 19th of October the Association Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises du Maroc (AFEM) implemented the first Women Entrepreneurship Day (WED) in Morocco of the second phase of AFAEMME's Young Women as Job Creators project. The Women Entrepreneurship Day took place in the Institut Agricole Temara and motivated 30 young women.

Now, those participants who really want to start a business will be supported in writing the business plan and will have the chance to participate in specific training sessions about marketing, management and finance. Also individual mentoring and advice will be provided to the participants.

Further Women Entrepreneurship Days will take place in other universities and training institutes.
